Bio

Defining and improving the product design process and the user experience quality. Going well beyond aesthetics: my work consists in building effective and beautiful user experiences from the very inception of the product to pixel-pushing at the end.

Since I was very young I have been interested in interacting and rethinking objects around. All that curiosity led me to become a self-taught graphic designer by the age of 13, working on branding and all sorts of promo material for a lot of business in the small city I was born in.

At 16 I got my first professional job as assistant in an architecture firm where I learned technical drawing, perspective, 3d model, proportions and, most importantly, I started to understand and think about structural needs of people at home, at work and in public spaces.

In 2006 I moved to São Paulo; in the first 4 years I worked as a designer in several industries such as Publishing, Advertising, Music and Entertainment. In 2010 I started my first company, toteAki, where I learned a lot; after one year and a half, I sold it.

By the end of 2012 I started working at Pontomobi (Mobile division of ISOBAR group), one of the biggest mobile marketing agencies in Brazil where I have developed projects for big brands like RedBull, VW, UFC, RIM, BASF and many more.

Now I'm building great products on my own design studio in Brazil, available for freelance and contract worldwide.
